''Karen and I have now managed to fulfil one of our life long dreams thanks to Marquis and just last week we took delivery of our first camper van, an Auto Sleeper Symbol 2017 model!!

Our adventure began just over a year ago as we began looking forward to the next stage of our life journey together, Karen and myself have talked about owning a van for such a long time and we began looking at various makes and models across the South West over the last 12 months and whilst they were all beautiful, we hadn’t quite found the van that “spoke to us” in the way we were looking for.

We also visited various distributors and felt we were very much left alone to take our own journey into the world of camper vans, until we visited Marquis showroom at Lee Mill, Plymouth and met Amanda James.

Amanda introduced the Marquis business and listened to our aspirations and hopes without any heavy sales talk that you may expect, and we felt as if we were being listened to, Amanda made notes of the type of van we were looking for and very soon afterwards sent details of various vehicles that were becoming available within the Marquis family.

Each van was lovely, but they still weren’t quite what Karen and myself (and Lilly the dog) were looking for, however the important factor was Amanda would listen to our brief and send details across of another van and each time the camper van was getting closer and closer to what we were looking for and this was really the beginning of our exciting journey as Amanda worked hard to deliver the brief!

Our brief was quite a challenge until one day in October Amanda sent through details of the Auto Sleeper Symbol 2017 which ticked all the boxes and more! We arranged a test drive, met the Marquis team, Dan and Dave were both so helpful in showing us the van and answering our many questions whilst Amanda was away at the NEC show in Birmingham.

We carried out our research and read many reviews for Auto Sleeper and yes, the Symbol did “speak to us” in that special way that told us this is what we had been looking for, we met Amanda again and were helped through the final stages of buying our wonderful van.
